Gunryu couldn't help but chuckle slightly at the horrible attempt at an attack. Owl had basically only punched him in the chest, the lightning becoming absorbed by the black reiatsu. In response, He punched directly out towards Kisai's chest, to make him fly backwards. At the same time, he used shunpo to go around him and charged right at him, horns first.

Just as Gunryu was chuckling, the Raikiri ripped and teared through his chest, slashing past his heart as Owl's almost entire forearm went into him. For some reason, the black Reiatsu around Gunryu hadn't absorbed the Raikiri.
"I'm assuming you're still alive, and that I'm going to need to do more to kill you, so here's where your defence is flawed. It would've absorbed my attack completely, true, had I not been surrounded by this Shadow Aura. It's primary ability is the ability to negate any form of signal like power from affecting me. So when your power tried to absorb both my Aura and my Raikiri, it was stopped, not able to touch anything under the Aura. Had I not had it, then yes, my attack would've been absorbed. But since I'm stopping you from absorbing any of my power with your black Reitsu, then my attack went through." said Owl, taking his arm out and jumping back to avoid the fist.

[OOC. Not meaning to pry or but into this fight, but did a bleach character just use a Chidori...?] Also this fight needs to continue

(Yes, with my Bankai, I'm able to draw upon any type of energy source that is possible, since the Owl is an all-knowingi being, or close enough to one. He knows how to tap into a bunch of sources, including Chakra and Spiritual Energy. I'm even using one of my made-up sources, Heart, and the energy from a Silhouette of Sadness, another of my made-up powers.)
